The festival wrap up meeting & picnic will largely be for fun & comradely, & this time The Rain Gods promise to be held in remission: this Sunday 7-17 1 PM. Peruse the West side of Sheep’s Meadow in Central Park for colorful blankets. Potluck,bringing food is appreciated but optional, members & all guests welcome! Announced here quite soon will be chances for up to 20 artists to install beautiful permanent murals in the cool Park Slope Townhouse Gallery, & other artists & performers will have ongoing opportunities for group shows. We will also feature select performers at our gratis Magazine Launch party at gorgeous multi-room & garden Clinton Housing, with HK cuisine. Frank Boras is a west side & International artist, Broadway & Yale man, had his 1st work/live space in HK in 1970! In his words: ”I would like to do a series of paintings or sketches that depict the environment of artists who work and live in Hell’s Kitchen. It is my intention that these “portraits” would depict who the artist is WITHOUT any physical presentation of the artist him/her self.
